"The sensation of the year among light sixes," the Cleveland Six was
equipped with an overhead valve, straight six-cylinder engine, that was
tested for three years before the model was first sold to the public.
Cleveland Automobile Co. advertised that "the Cleveland Six motor, of
the overhead-valve type, quiet and responsive in an unusual degree, is
alive with power." The car had a wheelbase of 112 inches. However, with
a price of $1,385, the three-passenger Cleveland Roadster and its
sister models couldn't compete with Ford's Model T.
